This acrylic painting reflects a burst of inspiration Sara encountered while driving through the Texas Hill Country. Back in 2019, Sara came across a blooming prickly pear cactus that was so striking, it made her pull over to photograph it. The combination of the brilliant blue sky, the bright yellow and pink blooms, and the lush green pads of the cactus left a lasting impression on her and she promised herself then that she would paint this scene to truly capture its radiance. In 2024 Sara fulfilled that promise, bringing the vibrancy and energy of that moment to life in this painting. The bold colors and painterly details make this piece a celebration of nature's springtime brilliance in Texas
